What experience is needed to be an Entry Level Engineer at FanDuel UK?
We’re committed to creating a level playing field so whether you have:
- a university degree
- attended an engineering bootcamp or
- self taught
All you need to do is show us your technical ability and we’ll show you the rest.
Role & Application Process
Our entry-level positions in Technology sit within:
- Software Engineering and
- Data Engineering
We open roles throughout the year, as managers let us know they are in a position to support and nurture an entry level engineer. As such- keep an eye on our L2 careers board.
Our interview loop is continuously reviewed, but if your application stands out you can expect a call with one of our Talent Acquisition team to talk about joining us in more detail.
Post-Hire
Our entry level colleagues join established teams where they:
- are taught about engineering in a professional setting, and how to deliver in our stack.
- report to managers that sit within the same team
- are assigned an experienced engineer to act as a dedicated mentor and to enable tailored support.
- have access to Udemy learning portal as well as other industry recognised training
Progression
The main thing that sets an entry level hire apart is their limited experience in industry. We aim to progress entry-level staff within 12 months (although we never progress anyone who isn’t ready). After this time, we hope our entry levels have built sufficient experience and knowledge of industry to progress to the next stage of their careers at FanDuel.
Internships
Our 2023 12-week, paid summer internships started in June. We are, therefore, no longer accepting applications for this year.
